DESCRIPTION:Large companies use automation to reduce repetitive work\, impr
ove reliability\, and help teams move faster. Many of the same ideas can b
e just as valuable for solo developers and small indie teams—without bri
nging along the complexity and bureaucracy of a large organization.\n\nThi
s talk explores how automated builds\, reusable development environments\,
continuous integration\, testing\, packaging\, and versioned releases can
increase development velocity and make ambitious projects more sustainabl
 e.\n\nUsing the multiple open-source Godot projects I maintain as a real-w
orld case study\, I will show how automation makes it possible for one dev
eloper to support several platforms\, dependencies\, and release workflows
at a scale that would be unrealistic to manage manually.
